Five-a-side on Saturday. A book club. A hike, a potluck, a study session, a fundraiser, an iftar. Put it on Fazool and it lands in front of the Muslims near you, with RSVPs, reminders and a check-in list that works at the door.
Free to host. No listing fee, no cut of tickets, no card needed.
What you get
All of it is on from the first event. There is no upgrade, because there is nothing above this.
A page people can find
Every public event gets its own address, indexed by search and built to unfurl properly when somebody pastes it into a group chat.
RSVPs with a real cap
Set a number. Fazool closes the list when it fills, and keeps count of who is actually coming rather than who tapped something.
Reminders that land
Everyone who said yes gets a push the day before and again an hour ahead. You send nothing.
Check-in at the door
Open the roster on your phone and tap a name. No printed sheet, no clipboard, and afterwards you can see who never showed.
Sisters only, brothers only, or both
That and the halal food flag are set once and print on the card, in search results and in the reminder. Nobody has to ask you in the comments.
A recap album
Attendees add photos when it is over, so next month’s event sells itself off last month’s room.
How it works
Four steps. The first one takes about a minute.
i.
Tell us what and when
Title, time, where. Add a photo if you have one, skip it if you do not.
ii.
Public or private
Public gets listed in your city. Private is link-only and never indexed.
iii.
Share the link
One address that works everywhere: the group chat, a poster, a QR on the door.
iv.
Check people in
Tap names as they arrive. Afterwards you get the numbers and the album.
Who can host
Anyone can run a private one today. A public listing asks for one more thing, because it goes out to strangers.
Private event
Invite by link. Nothing appears in search, in the city feed, or in any unfurl beyond the Fazool name.
An account, and that is all
Guests join from your link
The address is shown only after you approve someone
Public event
Listed in your city, indexed by search, open to anyone who finds it.
We check your ID first, once
Your name and host rating show on the event
You can still cap the list and approve arrivals
For masjids, MSAs and organizations
If you run more than the occasional gathering, you get the tools that come with volume.
One page for the organization
Your events collected under your name, so people can follow the masjid rather than remembering to check.
Co-hosts
Add the volunteers who actually work the door. They get the roster without getting your account.
Announcements
Message everyone who said yes at once. Venue moved, doors are late, bring a prayer mat.
Questions
Does it cost anything to host?
No. Listing is free, there is no fee per attendee, and Fazool takes no cut if you charge for tickets. Payment is arranged directly between you and your guests.
Do I need to verify my ID?
Only for public events. It is a one-time check, your document is reviewed by a person and then permanently deleted. Private events need nothing beyond an account.
Can I run a sisters-only or brothers-only event?
Yes. You set it when you create the event and Fazool enforces it on the guest list, so you are not policing your own RSVPs.
Can I charge for tickets?
Yes. Mark the event as paid and give your guests the payment details you already use. Fazool tracks who has paid on the roster and never touches the money.
What happens to a private event’s page?
It is never indexed and never listed. Pasted anywhere, it unfurls as nothing but the Fazool name, so a link forwarded into the wrong group does not leak your address, your guest list, or even your title.
Can my masjid have its own page?
Yes. Organizations get a profile that collects every event under one name, with co-hosts and announcements. Write to us and we will set it up.
Cities with nothing on yet
Somewhere has to be first. These are the places Fazool has members and no events.
