Delete your Fazool account

Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, photos, matches and messages. This cannot be undone. The few things we keep are listed below.

Delete from inside the app

1. Open Fazool and sign in.
2. Tap the Profile tab.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Account, then Delete Account.
4. Confirm with your password.

Delete on the web

1. Sign in at fazool.org.
2. Open Settings, then the Account section.
3. Click Delete Account and confirm with your password.

Can't access your account?

If you have lost access to your account (no password, no phone, no email), email [email protected] from the address tied to the account and include your full name and the approximate date you signed up. We verify ownership before processing any deletion request.

What happens next

• Your profile is hidden from the discovery feed immediately.
• You have a 30-day grace period to restore the account by signing back in. After 30 days, the account is permanently deleted.
• Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play. Cancel it there so it stops renewing.
• Hard-deleted data includes: profile, photos, voice notes, matches, messages, swipe history, ID verification images, and subscription records.
• Retained data (for legal / fraud / safety reasons): financial transaction records, moderation audit logs, and any accounts suspended for a policy violation.
• To prevent fraud and duplicate accounts, we keep a one-way code made from your ID number and, where one was made, a face template from your verification selfie, which we destroy within three years. Neither can be turned back into your ID or your photo. Signing up again with the same ID needs our support team first.
• Photos you added to event albums stay there for the other guests with your name removed, unless you choose to delete them when you delete your account.
